Your giving is making a diference
As a registered Charity, we are thankful to the members and friends of the PCC who have generously donated your finances and talents to the building up of our community. The ministry and life of our congregation depends on your continued support in the following ways:
PCC partners with the Church of God in Eastern Canada and other mission organizations to support Haiti and Uganda on an ongoing basis. We also join with other organizations to assist with disaster relief and special projects when needed.
General Operational Giving
This supports the staff and volunteers to carry out the mandate of PCC to teach and equip all ages by resourcing our ministries. (Children, Youth and Young Adults, Seniors, and the sick and shut-in, and the facilities upkeep.)
God has blessed us with a facility on Nairn and we are grateful for that, however we are currently looking to make our building accessible or to relocate as the Lord leads. Our needs toward building an adequate worship space to meet the needs of our community are an ongoing and necessary process to meet our mission to grow.
The church is an organization that historically funds its mission and programs through the giving and generosity of its donors. A faith offering provides an opportunity for members and supporters to pledge a special offering over and above the standard giving. You may do so on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or annual basis.
The Faith offering pledge, based on the teaching of Paul in 2 Corinthians 8-9, is summed up in the apostle’s testimony concerning the Christians at Macedonia: For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. -2 CORINTHIANS 8:3 (NIV)
This exercise of faith is a spiritual act through which you receive God’s special enabling. As you practice it, you experience an added spiritual dimension.
